The OTi-1368 is a media platform for digital audio play. It has a MPEG layer 3 decoder built in, incorporating USB1.1 host controller, USB device, and SD/MMC card reader. With USB host controller, you can play audio data from any USB device with mass storage protocol. With USB device controller and SD/MMC card interface, you can plug this device into PC to download audio data to SD/MMC card and play music in this platform from card interface. This controller is quite suitable for portable digital audio application. The built-in MPEG layer 3 audio decoder supports all the feature specified in ISO/IEC 11172-3 and 13813-3.2, capable of decoding layer III compressed elementary streams, except mono audio stream. It can support audio format with sampling frequency 48, 44.1, 32, 24, 22.05 and 16 kHz. It accepts elementary compressed stream with data rate from 320kbps to 32kbps, including VBR (variable bit-rate) format. The OTi-1368 has a 5-band equalizer. There are five EQ mode preset. These EQ modes can be adjusted by firmware. The controller has a serial PCM output interface to connect with different DACs. There are two kinds of format supported, left-adjusted and I2S.
